ESG reports on another flaring episode, not even a full week after the last
one

On Tuesday 2nd May, not even a week after the first report of alarming
flaring, the Refinery is seen with several chimneys alight causing
voluminous amounts of black smoke this time heading away from Gibraltar.
Contact with their colleagues across the border has revealed that
Ecologistas en Accion made press statements in the Spanish media after the
last one and have demanded an explanation from the plant as to what is going
on. So far no news but yesterdays episode should definitely place more
pressure with hopefully the competent authorities also ensuring some answers
are given and given soon.
