The ESG are delighted to confirm that they have voted in the recently retired Ombudsman, Henry Pinna to be their Honorary President. The ESG are confident, however, that Henry will become increasingly involved in several of the ESG objectives and campaigns which are of considerable concern to him. We congratulate him on this appointment and are sure that Gibraltar will benefit from having such a dedicated individual at the helm of an active environmental group keen to improve on the many environmental problems which affect our community.

The ESG are about to launch a campaign for membership and will circulate its document on the environment in order to inform the public of the many issues the ESG are very concerned about.

This campaign will peak in March when on Saturday the 8th the group will be holding an awareness day at the Piazza to answer any questions and sign up new members. We look forward to seeing you there.
